Even after getting a TON of new presents for his half birthday, I think Dylan's favorite toy is still his jumper.

Dylan's 1/2 Birthday!

John and I decided to have an impromptu birthday party for Dylan on Friday! He turned half a year old on 6/26/09. I know how badly December birthdays suck, so we are going to try to have a half birthday celebration for him every year until he gets too old to appreciate it! We had cupcakes (which were obviously more for us), decorations, and TONS of presents. It was a lot of fun, but now we know that we should probably start earlier in the day, as the poor little guy was ready for bed by the time we got to the "cake"!

Big Boy Bath Tub!

We bought a new inflatable bath tub for Dylan, and he absolutely loves it! He thinks he is such a big shot! He loves kicking his feet and splashing the water by flapping his arms!

John swears this is a coincidence, but I have to wonder how else my sweet baby boy could have picked this up! It is naturally one of John's favorite pictures, and I even had it framed for him for Father's Day.

Water Baby!

I am so glad that my little boy is as infatuated with the water as I am! We put him in the pool for the first time this weekend (it finally got warm enough) and he just loved it! He was splish, splashing all over and he didn't want to get out! Isn't he cute?

Dylan thinks that when I throw something up in the air and I catch it, it is the funniest thing!

So easy to entertain....I hope this stage lasts for awhile!

Me in My Swing!

John's mom was kind enough to let us borrow this swing because Dylan fell in love with it when we were at her house one day. He likes to sit in it for his quiet time and watch cartoons on the Nog. His faves right now are "Wow, Wow, Wubzy" and "Max and Ruby".

See his leg? He does that as soon as he gets situated in his swing. He will cock his right leg up on the divide and sit like that....I guess it is relaxing???
