Another Milestone!

My baby has mastered the act of pulling himself up and standing! This is a double edged sword because we are starting to realize what an adrenaline junkie we have on our hands! He is fearless, and will stand up straight and then face plant head first just to get his kicks, or so it seems! We are certainly keeping busy these days and can't let him out of our sight for a second! The few times we have, will explain the bruises and goose eggs on Dylan's head! We love every minute of it!

And already cell phones are his favorite toys!

8 Months Old!

Gorilla Face!

You probably can't see it very clearly, and it is much funnier in person, but Dylan has this new "thing" that he does. He makes this funny looking face where he pokes out his bottom lip. It is really hard to capture, because he usually only does it when he is on the move and concentrating on the next thing to get into. We call it the gorilla face!

The Aquarium!

The Monday after we got home from the beach I took Dylan to the Georgia Aquarium. My mom, dad, and brother Jason came as well. I was surprised with how "in awe" Dylan was of everything! I thought he was too young yet to really grasp all of the wonderful sights around him, but he really took to it all....Disney World here we come!!! just kidding....

Dylan and I- I think he is going to be just as obssessed with aquariums as I am....though I don't think he will be as obssessed with the Titanic as I, since he snoozed through the entire exhibit. Which was probably a good thing!

Trip to the Beach

The whole gang went to the beach the week of August 8th through the 15th. We rented a house near Rosemary Beach that had a pool. Dylan is not a big fan of the beach. Sweat, sand, sunshine, wind, bright white sand, and babies don't mix. Hopefully, he will grow to love it as much as I do! All in all we had a great time and great weather!
