Halloween!

Baby's 1st Halloween!

Dylan has overcome his fear of pumpkins! Whew!

Our little Monkey!

(notice there is no head to this costume, apparently 10 month olds don't like things on their head! It was WWIII trying to get ANY photos with his monkey head on, as you will see!)

The calm before the storm!

Our only shot of Dylan's full monkey costume!

Get this thing off!

Torture!

Our friends, Amy and Ben and their 3 month old Avery (bee), Ash and Adam and 5 month old Ellie (ladybug), Renee and Nate and their 2 year old Anna (ballarenia), all came over to watch FL whip up on GA and to celebrate Halloween! It is hard to get 4 kids that are 2 years and younger all to sit still and pretty for the camera! This is the best we could do!

Little monkey is sharing his banana with Ellie! What a sweet boy!

"Hey kid, you don't have to wear that silly thing on top of your head. Look at me! Here, let me help you with that!"

We decided it may be easier to get a shot if we all held our little ones!

I might not have gotten the full effect of Dylan's costume, but by the end of the day, he gave me a beautiful smile anyway, and after that, the monkey head seemed so insignificant!

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson!

Mommy went to NYC with her besties, Julie and Stacy, and Daddy stayed home with Dylan. He gotta a lil' help from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson! It was a fun day!

Bye Bye!

Our little guy has learned to wave bye bye! He actually perfected it a while ago, but we haven't been able to catch him in action until now!

The funny thing is he watches his arm while doing as if to say, "Hey! who's doing that?!?!?!"

The Pumpkin Patch!

Saturday we took Dylan to the pumpkin patch hoping for some cute photo ops...seconds after the first few shots, Dylan face planted into a rather large pumpkin while trying to roll it and the following is a brief synopsis of the fallout....we ended up having a lot of fun, but we hope to return in a couple of weeks to prove to Dylan that pumpkins are actually fun!
Cutie at the pumpkin patch!

Right before "pumpkin-gate," trying to roll the guilty party....

Oh the misery of being surrounded by menacing pumpkins!

Daddy tried to show him that there was nothing to be afraid of, but I guess that doesn't work when a big mean pumpkin just came up and bit you on the face just moments before!

Really not having it at all!

Why we thought putting him on top of a giant scary tractor would lift his spirits is beyond me...but it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Gaga thought maybe showing him baby pumpkins would help him overcome his fears, but instead he tried to eat it!

Grandpa did the trick! There's a smile!

Still a little red faced here...but he gave us a smile anyway! Brave boy!

Gaga, Dylan, and Grandpa

We tricked him in this shot, no pumpkins anywhere around and we were standing in front of the pony rides!

Our cute little family!

By the end of the day, I got him to smile and even hold a "pump-pump"!

My Favorite Things!

Spinning wheels on anything I can find...my mom doesn't think cars are very cute, so I only have a few, and when I get my hands on one, I go to town....this has lead to me attempting to spin any and all things that come my way-- wheels or no wheels.

Crawling around with any object I can find in my mouth! (don't worry folks, this is NOT a dirty dish towel, it's just a dirty burp cloth quite possibly loaded with massive amounts of spit up.)

Being outside is the best!

My all time favorite game is when my mommy acts like she is going to throw me in the ceiling fan!

Here it comes!

I told you he was an adrenaline junkie! (Check out those massive chompers!)

Whew! Good Times!
